CALL FOR PROPOSALS:
The Rowan University Art Gallery’s mission is to enrich the educational experience of students while broadening awareness and appreciation for contemporary art for the general public. Proposals will be selected with the following in consideration: relevancy, uniqueness, diverse range of media, and examine new processes in visual arts. Selected proposals will be developed into an exhibition with the option to include a color brochure with a statement or essay by the curator, and other related programming.
We are most interested in proposals that explore the following concepts:
Spatial Mass or Volume, Voids or Hollowness
Materials: density or accumulation
Installations: structural, architectural, kinetic, linear
Performance and public engagement, art as activism
Deadline: 03/31/11
